1. ATTENDANCE – Starting September your attendance will be reviewed quarterly instead of annually. NSCC Regulations state that you must attend 75% of all scheduled drills. That is nine of twelve drills per quarter. If you do not meet this minimum standard, you will be administratively warned. If you continue to fail to meet minimum attendance standards, you will be discharged from the NSCC/NLCC.

2.    ANNUAL INSPECTION - Our annual inspection will be conducted at the 24 January drill.  Please ensure you have your Service Dress Uniform ready for inspection. We will be having special visitors that evening and we MUST be the example for all.  After the inspection, we will have a knowledge bowl.  Attendance at Annual Inspection is MANDATORY! Cadets not attending must have a valid excuse. Cadets with unexcused absences may be dismissed from the program.

3.    COURSEWORK - All Cadets are required to turn in at least one (1) coursework assignment per month. All coursework to be counted for 2008 must be turned in by December 18. All training must be completed by December 31. Failure to complete training in 2008 will result in poor grades for our unit at our Annual Inspection. A reminder to those Cadets who have successfully completed Recruit Training, please speak with your Company Commander if you have any questions about the course you should be working on or to turn in completed lessons. The training officer will communicate through the Chain of Command. If you need to schedule training, please do so through the Chain of Command.

4.    ENROLLMENT FEES - The cost of re-enrollment is $51.00 for both NSCC and NLCC. If your ID card expires in the next month -- please see your Company Commander to make sure that the Cadet Petty Officers are aware. Bring your re-enrollment fee to the office when you pay dues and your new ID Card will be ordered. When it comes in you will be summoned to the office through the chain of command to have your picture taken. This re-enrollment fee goes directly to National HQ.

5.    REPORT CARDS – Do not forget to bring in a copy of your report cards for Division Officer Review and possible awards of the Academic Achievement Ribbon. The award of this ribbon has been extended to NLCC Cadet as well.
