Information for JPK Weekend Training

The Annual JPK Training weekend is scheduled for 10, 11 and 12 October 2008 at Battleship Cove in Fall River, MA.

Training will consist of: A Theme of shipboard damage control

Available billets consist of 95 Males / 24 Females cadets and 15 Males / 4 Females officers; all billets will be filled on a first-come-first-served basis with no limitation from each unit. Check-in time is 10 Oct 2008 between 1700 and 2030, with a Liberty Call 12 Oct 2008 at 1330. Parking is available in the overnight parking lot across from the Carousel.

One escort officer from each unit will be complimentary and ALL officers will be expected to participate by standing a watch and/or assist in the galley/serving line.

A completed training roster with payment of $30.00/cadet and extra officers should be submitted no later than 01 Oct 2008 to ENS L. Levesque, NSCC via E-Mail AND USPS at c/o JPK Training Weekend Rosters jpkseacadetsdd-850@comcast.net / 47 Sherman Road Swansea, MA. 02777. All inquiries may also be referred to her at the same address.

All Cadets, Chiefs and Midshipman that have applied for a staff billet will be notified once all unit rosters have been received.

Seabag list and the unit rosters are in a separate attachment.

Officers should have two sets or any combination of khakis, winter working blues or alternative uniform along with any necessary personal items.

There will not be a Dress Blues Inspection this year. We will conduct a Utilities inspection.

ANY MEDICINES MUST BE PRE-AUTHORIZED THROUGH COTC WITH NSCTNG025

All units must have updated personnel records on hand and all personnel attending must be enrolled with current USNSCC ID card and local orders.
